GRAVURE PRINTING UNIT
FOR INLINE PRINTING ON EXTRUDER

This is a Gravure printing unit without drive. This was specially made for in line printing of pepsi tube & statutory text on carrier bags. This Gravure unit is placed after the treatment unit & just before the rewinding unit. This is the only process to print sharp & quality text on the web, as compared to Flexo printing. In long runs it is found to be very economical also. In line printing to the Extrusion avoid an extra process of printing. This avoids the extra cost of printing machine with good tension controlled rewinders. As the latest bag making machines accepts the 24” to 30” diameter rolls.

This unit is Machined & Fabricated from 15 mm MS Plate. Heavy construction made, vibration less to suit 40 m/min printing speed.

Idlers of Aluminum seamless pipe by machining. Dynamically balanced.

Impression / pressure Rubber roll is pneumatically operated and controlled.

Printing unit is designed for hollow print cylinders. Special bearing housings ensure quick and easy changeovers .

Printing cylinder sizes of prescribed length & Dia. 125mm to 175mm. Can be fitted on the unit.

Doctor blade unit can be adjusted in 4-way positions i.e. Vertical, Horizontal, Skewing & angular adjustments to cover the full range of print cylinder circumference. Doctor blade movement connected through gears box for to and fro motion.

Ink tray adjustable to different heights to cover the full range of print cylinder circumference. All units provided with splashguards
Total power required 250watts .
